ABOUT THE COACH
Tim KAUsch
Badminton England Level 2 Coach
I've been playing badminton for more than 25 years, having played through university, competed at county level and played in leagues across the country.
Over the years I've competed in a wide range of matches and tournaments, giving me experience of different levels and styles of badminton.
My own development has also been influenced by high-level coaching, including working with Donna Kellogg, an Olympic medal-winning badminton player.
I'm passionate about helping players understand their own game and make practical improvements that they can take into their matches.
My coaching approach
I believe good coaching should be individual, practical and enjoyable.
Rather than simply feeding shuttles and repeating the same exercises, I want players to understand why they are doing something and how it applies when they actually play.
Whether you're completely new to badminton, returning after a break or an experienced recreational player looking to improve, sessions are adapted to your level and goals.
